Rogue Valley Veterans & Community Outreach (RVVCO) is committed to feeding the hungry, helping those in crisis, and promoting self-sufficiency and independence.
RVVCO is the largest provider of Grant and Per Diem (GPD) services in southern Oregon. Our agency serves Veterans from all 5 counties currently covered by SSVF Program (Supportive Services for Veteran Families).
RVVCO continues to work closely with our partners like United Way, Jackson and Josephine County Veteran Service Offices, VA-SORCC, RVCOG, ACCESS, INC., Harry & David Theresa McCormick Center, Easter Seals, Veteran's Employment Specialist at Oregon Employment Department, Rogue Community College, Southern Oregon University and many other community partners to address barriers associated with homelessness of Veterans and non-veterans alike through the Homeless Task Force and events like Project Community Connect. We are supporters and beneficiaries of Southern Oregon Military Appreciation Golf Tournament, sponsored by Southern Oregon Veterans Benefit. RVVCO is a proud contributor to the STAND UP! wherein we bring all veterans together in a venue in Grants Pass to provide resources and camaraderie with other veterans. We host the SECOND TUESDAY event put together by Southern Oregon Coalition to provide haircuts, breakfast and resources.
Our objectives are designed to assist clients in accessing the necessary supportive services, job training, and skill development for obtaining and maintaining employment and independent living. The VA provides substance abuse treatment groups, vocational assistance, and veterans support groups at our Resource Center.
RVVCO is continuing to develop programs to help re-integrate that part of our community back into a productive lifestyle.
Our purpose has changed little since the agency’s founding: it empowers families and individuals in our community to attain self-sufficiency with an enduring commitment to treating all people with dignity and respect.
Serving the Rogue Valley since 1979!
